During the 2025 Budget Debate, Minister Maynard emphasized the importance of ensuring that the public is prepared to effectively utilize the new tools being introduced to improve digital efficiency. He stated, “We recognise that innovation is the cornerstone of economic advancement. In line with this, our focus will be on building a future-ready workforce and so this Budget allocates funds for the upskilling of our workforce in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and the internet of things.”
