Shopper’s Frustration
Writing on X, the shopper said: “All stores in Florida have been out of the salmon grain free dog food.
“Store personnel says it’s a warehouse issue.
“When will this item be back in stock. Asking for my dog.”
After Aldi responded asking for more information about their location, the store came back with helpful advice that later turned out to just cause more hassle.
The retailer said: “We know it’s been temporarily unavailable in a few areas, but our Winter Haven store should have some stock!
“Our records show there were 15 bags of the grain free salmon and sweet potato dog food available as of today.”
But the shopper soon corrected them saying, “we just drove across town and they have none” to which the Aldi could only apologize.
The retailer admitted “that’s disappointing”.
