Alejandro Campins’“Sucedáneos” – Repeating Islands

New shows for 2024 at Galleria Continua/Paris include French Moroccan artist Leila Alaoui’s “Made in India;” Marta Spagnoli (Italy), with “Scavengers;” and Alejandro Campins (Cuba), with “Sucedáneos.” The exhibition opening takes place on January 19, 2024, at Galleria Continua/Paris, located at 87 rue du Temple, Paris 3e, France.

Alejandro Campins Fleita (Manzanillo, Cuba 1981) lives and works between Havana and Madrid. He studied at “El Alba” Professional Academy of Fine Arts in Holguin (2000) and the Higher Institute of Arts (ISA) in Havana (2009). Campins’ paintings, drawings and photographs explore the genre of landscape and places with a strong emotional charge that challenge our perception of space and time.
