Inception Fete to Take Center Stage with Alkaline, Original Burning Flames, and DJ Lord Hype

The St. Kitts and Nevis Carnival has grown to become one of the premier events in the Federation over the past seven years, and this year, it’s about to take another leap.

Headlining Acts Announced

Dancehall artiste Alkaline from Jamaica, the Original Burning Flames from Antigua, and Trinidadian DJ Lord Hype are set to perform at the Johnny Walker Black Inception Fete. The announcement was made at a public launch at the Frigate Bay Strip on Friday evening.

The Line-Up

The event will feature seven local DJs, including DJ Shabs, DJ Wett Dutt, Unstoppable Sounds, Real Right Entertainment Extasy Sounds, Hell Fire Sounds, and Triple S Sweet Sister Sensia. Three leading bands in St. Kitts and Nevis – the Grand Masters Band, Small Axe Band, and Nu Vybz Band Intl – will also take the stage.

A Jam Down Feature of Local Soca Artistes

Though no local soca artiste was announced, the show will feature a jam down segment with some of the top local soca artistes. Names will be released in the coming days.

A Look Back at Inception Fete’s Growth

Speaking at the launch event, President of Inception, Anthony Johnson, gave a brief overview of how Inception Fete has grown over the years. He praised the performers who have made the event what it is today.

Ermelin Sebastian Duggins of team inception lauded the sponsors of the event for believing in their vision. “For the last seven years, the journey has been amazing because we have gotten to see our vision come to life. We have gotten corporate sponsors to believe in and invest in this vision and attach their brands to our Inception fete brand.”

Inception Fete Details

The 12-hour Inception Fete takes place on December 30 from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. at the historic Fort Thomas Hotel grounds.
