Alyssa Milano talks ‘challenges’ after Shannen Doherty ‘Charmed’ firing claims

Alyssa Milano shared a cryptic post about “resilience” on Tuesday after her “Charmed” co-stars Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty’s recent accusations against her.

Milano tweeted a lengthy statement in celebration of her 51st birthday.

“Today is my birthday! However, instead of just saying my age, from now on I’m going to say that I have reached ‘level 51,” she wrote. “To unlock this level, I have discovered a few cheat codes that have helped me navigate the challenges and triumphs along the way.”

The “Brazen” actress continued, “The first cheat code is RESILIENCE. I have faced my fair share of heartache, anxiety, and depression, but I have managed to overcome them with LOVE. Love for myself, which keeps me evolving and searching, love for others, which keeps me gentle and forgiving, and love for the world around me which keeps me in awe at what has been created here. It is through this love that I have found the strength to keep pushing forward.”

She also cited gratitude, compassion and empathy as “more cheat codes that have helped me reach level 51 status.”

“Although they can sometimes be uncomfortable emotions to experience, they have shaped me into a kind and humble person who strives to ease the suffering of humanity. The ability to want to understand and share the feelings of others has allowed me to forge deep connections and foster a sense of unity and community,” Milano wrote.

The Post has contacted reps for Milano for comment.

Her words of wisdom come one day after Combs appeared on Doherty’s “Let’s Be Clear” podcast and claimed that Milano got Doherty fired from “Charmed” at the end of Season 3.

“‘We were told [by Alyssa] it’s her or [Shannen] and Alyssa has threatened to sue us for a hostile workplace environment,’” Combs recalled producer Jonathan Levin allegedly telling her about Doherty’s firing in the early 2000s.

Both Combs and Doherty agreed that any tension between the leading ladies happened in their trailers and never in front of the show’s crew or guest stars. They claimed the women never exchanged any “harsh words” or got into any public “brawls.”

“So by today’s standards, it [Doherty’s firing] wouldn’t f – – king fly,” Combs said.

Additionally, Doherty claimed on her podcast that Milano and her mother, Lin, stopped her from visiting Combs in the hospital after she had a tumor removed from her uterus.

Milano’s mom denied the duo’s claims while Alyssa has yet to address them directly.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210″ alum was killed off from the series and was ultimately replaced by Rose McGowan, who played Paige Matthews.

“I lived a year after that sort of replaying everything in my brain and really trying to find those moments [of alleged bad behavior on set] — and I couldn’t find them,” Doherty said on her podcast.

“I don’t ever remember being mean to her on set. I remember an episode I directed where she did something on the Christmas break and they asked me to work around some things with her and I had no problem with it,” she went on. “I couldn’t have been more kind and understanding.”

Milano, for her part, has kept relatively mum about the yearslong feud rumors. In 2021, however, she briefly opened up about their past during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“You know, I could take responsibility for a lot of our tension that we had,” she said that October. “I think a lot of our struggle came from feeling that I was in competition rather than it being that sisterhood that the show was so much about. And I have some guilt about my part in that.”
