Aubrey O’Day criticizes justice system after Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs settles abuse, rape lawsuit with Cassie

Aubrey O’Day called out the justice system after Cassie settled her rape and abuse lawsuit against her former boss Sean “Diddy” Combs on Friday.

“Money > accountability. Every time,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories Friday alongside an article about the settlement.

“Welcome to another chapter of the system is well in place. 💔.”

Page Six reached out to O’Day but did not immediately hear back.

Since news surfaced that Cassie had filed the shocking lawsuit against the hip-hop mogul, O’Day — who was signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy Records label in the 2000s — has publicly spoken out about her support for her fellow singer.

“I’m in complete support of her,” the “Show Stopper” singer, 39, told Page Six exclusively.

O’Day — who famously competed on Diddy’s “Making the Band 3” — also took to her Instagram Story to add, “Been trynna tell y’all for years. Prayers up for this queen 🙌🏼 @cassie.”

On Thursday, Cassie filed the suit against her former boyfriend and boss, claiming that he raped her and repeatedly physically abused her throughout their 10-year relationship.

According to the court docs obtained by Page Six, Diddy would allegedly punch, beat, kick and stomp on Cassie, “resulting in bruises, burst lips, black eyes and bleeding.”

“Over the next decade, multiple times each year, Mr. Combs would violently beat Ms. Ventura, leaving bruises on her body,” the suit alleged.

“After every instance in which he beat Ms. Ventura, Mr. Combs used his money and power to orchestrate extensive efforts to hide the evidence of his abuse, including by hiding Ms. Ventura in hotels for days at a time to let her bruises heal.”

The model also claimed in the suit that Diddy allegedly raped her in her apartment in 2018 as she “repeatedly said ‘no’ and tried to push him away.”

The “Gotta Move On” rapper’s lawyer, Ben Brafman, “vehemently” denied the accusations on behalf of his client in a statement to Page Six.

However, Douglas Wigdor, Cassie’s attorney, told Page Six that his client and Diddy spoke before she filed the lawsuit and the rapper allegedly offered her money to remain silent.

By Friday, the Sean John founder, 54, and Cassie, 37, announced that they “amicably” settled the lawsuit.

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” the “Long Way 2 Go” singer, born Casandra Ventura, said in her statement.

“I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

“We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love,” Combs also said in his own statement to Page Six.

Cassie and Diddy dated on and off for 10 years until calling it quits for good in 2018.

She is now married to fitness trainer Alex Fine and they share two daughters together.

Meanwhile, Diddy is the father of seven children with four different women. The Revolt CEO is currently in an open relationship with City Girls rapper Yung Miami.
