Exceptional Students Inducted into Susanna Lee High School Scholarship Programme
Ten outstanding students from St. Christopher and Nevis has been inducted into the Susanna Lee High School Scholarship program. Ms. Cassiann Caines of the Charlestown Secondary School and Mr. Zayne Mintos of the Gingerland Secondary School were among those honored.
Ceremony Commemorates Scholarship Event
The scholarship awards presentation took place on September 24, 2024, at the E. St. John Payne Annex in Basseterre, recognizing exceptional students who demonstrates both academic success and immense potential. The event awarded several scholarships to students from prestigious high schools, including Dalyissa Freeman- Ver childs High School, Joshua Taylor – Saddlers Secondary School, and many more.

Premier Mark Brantley, on behalf of the first program scholarship recipients, emphasized in his speech the profound and long-lasting impact of having a scholarship. " I’m proud to be among the first scholars of the programme, and it not only allowed me to finish my education without burden it will open doors to our bright future," he elaborated.

In further commending the Social Security Board for its dedication in fostering education, Honourary Dr. Geoffrey Hanley described the Susanna Lee High School Scholarship as a blessing. The certificates presentation ceremony was presided by Director Christopher Louard and Chairperson Janet Harris.
