Never Mind the Buzzcocks Set to Return for a Fourth Series on Sky Max
Courtney Love, the goddess of grunge, has revealed she’s a fan of East 17 on the new series of Never Mind the Buzzcocks. The music-themed quiz, set to return for a fourth series on Sky Max, will feature a new lineup, including team captains Noel Fielding and Jamali Maddix, and host Greg Davies.
A clip obtained by MailOnline shows Courtney, 60, and East 17 frontman Terry Coldwell sharing a hilarious moment on the show, discussing funeral songs, with Terry suggesting "Eat 17 Take Another Day" as a great funeral song. Courtney replied, "On my Christmas playlist every year."
Other notable guests include Spice Girl Mel B for the Nineties episode, Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards for Girl & Boy Bands, and The Gossip’s Beth Ditto for the Noughties episode.
Terry, who starred in East 17 alongside Brian Harvey, Tony Mortimer, and John Hendy, will make an appearance on the show. The band was known for hits like "Stay Another Day," "Deep," and "Steam."
Greg Davies, the show’s host, described Sophie Willan, who will replace Daisy May Cooper as a team captain, as "very natural and very silly" and said she will "roll with the punches" like Daisy.
The new series will feature a different theme for each of the four episodes, including the Nineties, Noughties, Rock, and Girl & Boy Bands. Guests will be drawn from the worlds of music and comedy, with each episode focusing on a specific genre or decade.
Never Mind the Buzzcocks S4 launches on October 16 on Sky Max and NOW.
