Dr. Kishore Shallow, President of Cricket West Indies (CWI), extends heartfelt congratulations to cricket legend Sir Curtly Ambrose, who was conferred an Honorary Doctorate of Laws by the University of the West Indies (UWI) Five Islands Campus over the weekend. This prestigious recognition highlights Sir Curtly’s immense contributions, not only to West Indies cricket but also to the broader sporting and cultural fabric of the Caribbean.

I couldn’t find any information about Jennifer Geerlings-Simons being elected as the President of Suriname. However, I did find that Chan Santokhi was elected as the President of Suriname in 2020.
But, I can tell you that Jennifer Geerlings-Simons is a Surinamese politician who served as the Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Suriname from 2020 to 2022. She was the first woman to hold this position.
