The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Adlai Smith, is seeking the public’s assistance in the ongoing investigation into the December 2024 traffic accident that claimed the life of Dr. Simoneth Williams. As the case remains under active investigation, the DPP is reviewing the official autopsy report alongside a non-resident accident reconstruction expert.

Autopsy Report Reveals Fatal Injuries

The autopsy report has revealed that Dr. Williams died from severe cranioencephalic trauma due to the motor vehicle accident. She was struck by a vehicle on December 20th, 2024, between 11:30 p.m. and 12 a.m., while walking along the Island Main Road in the New Road area. Despite being transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital, she sadly succumbed to her injuries.

Smith has emphasized the importance of additional information in completing a comprehensive analysis of the accident. He has also praised Dr. Williams’ family for their valuable support during the investigation.
