The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force has charged Lennox Nathaniel Greaves of Molineaux with causing death by careless driving in connection with a fatal accident that occurred late last year.
The charge stems from an incident on the night of December 20, 2024, in which Dr. Simoneth Williams of St. Peter’s was struck by a vehicle while walking along the Island Main Road in the New Road area. The collision occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. and midnight.
Following the accident, Dr. Williams was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. An autopsy later confirmed that her death resulted from severe cranioencephalic trauma sustained in the crash.
Greaves was formally arrested and charged at the Basseterre Police Station on April 23, 2025.
Police say investigations into the matter are ongoing.
