Groundbreaking Scholarship Program for Grenadian Students
Introduction to the Program
The Ministry of Education of Grenada has announced a significant partnership with Monroe University to offer a groundbreaking scholarship program aimed at supporting first-generation Grenadian students. This initiative provides fifty scholarships, distributed over three cohorts, to help these students’ access higher education opportunities.
The first cohort will begin in January 2025, the second cohort will commence in either September 2025 or January 2026 and the third cohort will begin in September 2026 or January 2027.
In addition to the scholarships, students will have access to various other scholarship opportunities that aim to reduce financial barriers to higher education. This partnership is expected to be a transformative step for Grenadian students, particularly those who are the first in their families to pursue tertiary education
