Kate Middleton is not letting her recent surgery get in the way of her royal commitments, according to a report.

The Princess of Wales, 42, is reportedly already “working from bed” to prepare for her return to official duties despite being discharged from the London Clinic on Monday following an abdominal surgery.

“Kate will still be healing for several weeks but is already eager to get back to work,” a source told Us Weekly.

Insiders claim that the mom of three, 42, is already “planning engagements and speaking with her team” in preparation for her return to the public eye.

Another source told the outlet that the Princess is expected to “bounce back” to make a full recovery soon but will need to prioritize herself to do so.

“It does sound serious with the length of time [she’s taking],” the insider said. “But she is in great hands and will have lots of care and support at home and is a fit young woman. I am sure she will bounce back.”

They stressed that Kate shouldn’t take on too much too fast in the meantime.

“It is sensible to take the time,” they said. “That is a great example to the rest of us, as you’re often told to get back to work as soon as possible, which can be damaging.”

The Post has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.

Princess Catherine was whisked away to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, where she was reunited with Prince William and their three children earlier this week.

She will continue recovering there behind closed doors until after Easter.

Since news of Middleton’s health woes came to light, Kensington Palace has contacted the princess’ 30 charities to postpone and reschedule engagements.

William, who had hit the brakes on his official engagements while Kate was in the hospital, is expected to resume his official duties once the princess settles in back at home.

Royal sources say Kate’s return to official duties “will depend on medical advice closer to the time.”

King Charles III’s former butler, Grant Harrold, exclusively told The Post that Middleton’s long-awaited return from the hospital fills a “void” within the royal family.

“Like any family, it’s always wonderful when a loved one is able to come back home. I’m sure the kids are really excited to have Kate back,” Harrold said.

“It will also be great for William, because when your partner or your loved one isn’t home, it leaves a void.”

“The fact that Kate is back home, behind closed doors, it’ll mean they’re able to return to some sense of normality,” he added.
