The Day of Interruption was a nationwide student intervention against crime and violence organized by the Citizen Security Secretariat. It featured Prime Minister, the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew, Senior Minister, the Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, Minister of State, the Honourable Isalean Phillip, members of the police high command, executives of political parties, rehabilitated prison inmates, and former inmates, faith-based leaders, entertainers, sports personalities, community leaders and others visiting public and private, primary and secondary schools across St. Kitts. They shared positive messages during the special assemblies and strongly encouraged the students to reject bullying, negative peer pressure, and acts of crime and violence.
