Nicola Peltz ‘blessed’ to get career advice from Victoria Beckham

Nicola Peltz may not have wanted any wedding planning help from Victoria Beckham when she married her son Brooklyn, but the actress loves going to her mother-in-law for career advice.

 “I love her, and she’s such an incredible, successful woman,” Peltz, 29, said of the fashion designer in a cover story interview with Byrdie magazine published Thursday.

She added, “How lucky am I that I get to ask her for advice? I’m blessed!”

The “Transformers: Age of Extinction” actress made her directorial debut in the film, “Lola,” which was released on Feb. 9.

Meanwhile, Victoria, 49, made the switch from pop star to business owner with her eponymous fashion line and makeup brand.

Peltz said she also looks to the former Spice Girl’s relationship with David Beckham, 48, as an example of how her marriage with Brooklyn should be.

“Anyone who has been married for a long time, it’s such a beautiful thing,” Peltz said. “My parents have been together for maybe 40 years? And David and Victoria have been together since Brooklyn was a baby, which is like 25 years.”

Peltz said that the soccer star is “so amazing with Victoria” and therefore Brooklyn is “so amazing” to her.

“I’m so thankful they raised such an incredible guy I got to marry, ” she said.

The “Bates Motel” alum also noted that her own parents — billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner — are role models of love.

“My parents, their love inspires me every day,” Nicola gushed, adding, “It sounds cheesy, but that’s how I feel.”

Nicola furthered that “family is everything” to her and she is “so close” to the Beckhams.

“I think there’s no better feeling than knowing you have a strong support system. It’s such a blessing, and I never take it for granted,” she said.

Nicola and Brooklyn, 24, tied the knot at her family’s lavish estate in Palm Beach, Fla., in April 2022.

While their ceremony was stunning, the behind-the-scenes drama surrounding the event was rather ugly.

At the time, Page Six reported that Victoria and Nicola couldn’t stand each other.

Sources told us that Nicola didn’t want Victoria’s help in wedding planning and that “the build-up to the wedding was horrendous.”

Rumors also swirled that there was tension over Nicola’s choice to wear a Valentino wedding dress instead of a gown by Victoria’s label.

However, Nicola denied the chatter and explained that it just didn’t work out because of timing issues.

“I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress,” Nicola told Variety in August 2022.

“She didn’t say ‘you can’t wear it;’ I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”

Brooklyn also denied that there was any bad blood between his mom and wife and said he just tunes out the rumors.

Victoria and Nicola seemingly squashed their beef and have both posted loving messages on social media on several occasions.

The “Spice Up Your Life” singer even shared a sweet birthday tribute for her daughter-in-law in January.

“We love you so much!!” she said of Nicola, adding that the model is “the best dance partner and loving daughter in law.”

Meanwhile, Nicola hilariously roasted Victoria by posting a video of the Victoria Beckham Beauty boss complaining about having to take out the trash on Christmas last December.
