Remington Hospitality Enters Caribbean Market, Signaling Strategic Company Expansion

Remington Hospitality, a leading hotel management company, today announces its strategic expansion into the Caribbean market. After a third quarter filled with meaningful domestic growth, the company has begun managing Croc’s Resort & Casino in Costa Rica, marking the management company’s first property in the region. Remington Hospitality is broadening its international portfolio and has also signed on to manage Autograph Sarchi in Costa Rica and two Larimar City resorts — Royal Sonesta Hotel and The James — in the Dominican Republic.

We are thrilled to announce Remington Hospitality’s expansion into the Caribbean, a move we have long been working towards. The combination of the Caribbean’s high year-round tourism demand and an increased interest in wellness travel makes this advancement a no-brainer. We’re looking forward to bringing our unmatched guest service beyond the U.S. borders, and I am confident that this expansion will usher in an exciting new chapter of success. Sloan Dean, Remington’s chief executive officer

Croc’s Resort & Casino

Nestled along the beaches of Jaco, Costa Rica, Croc’s Resort & Casino is a renowned destination welcoming leisure guests to relax along the shoreline and thrill-seekers to explore the resort’s many activities and entertainment. These activities include surfing, paddleboarding, ziplining, and horseback riding. In addition, the resort offers guests access to an on-site casino, four diverse restaurants, a nightclub, a resort-style pool, and over 7,000 square feet of versatile event space. The hotel boasts 166 guestrooms and suites with dedicated living areas and balconies showcasing breathtaking mountain and ocean views.

Croc’s Resort & Casino is a significant addition to Remington’s portfolio and serves as a testament to the company’s dedication to growth and the cultivation of strategic partnerships.

Future Caribbean Growth

Remington Hospitality continues to expand its presence in the Caribbean by signing several additional management agreements across the region, including:

  • Two hotels — The James and Royal Sonesta — in Larimar City, Dominican Republic, the Caribbean’s first smart city, and groundbreaking multi-use development
  • An Autograph hotel in Sarchi, Costa Rica
  • A luxury ecotourism project in Monte Verde, Costa Rica

The company also believes there are additional growth opportunities in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Grand Cayman, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Panama, the Bahamas, and South America.

In recent months, Remington has prioritized expanding our presence in other key hospitality verticals. Our foray into the Caribbean underscores this dedication and positions the properties themselves as tangible symbols of our forward trajectory. Keith Oltchick, chief development officer at Remington Hospitality

Impressive Company Growth

Ahead of this important company expansion, Remington welcomed nine new properties and 1,784 guestrooms into its esteemed portfolio in the past six months.

With exceptional service and continued strategic partnerships, Remington Hospitality expects to continue seeing industry-leading growth, both domestically and internationally.
