Ryan O’Neal celebrated his 82nd birthday with his estranged children just months before his death.

The “Peyton Place” star, who “passed away peacefully” on  Friday, had a troubled relationship with his four children: Tatum, 60, Griffin, 59, Patrick, 56, and Redmond, 38, as well as his famous ex-partner and Redmond’s mother, Farrah Fawcett.

But this year on April 20, both Tatum and Patrick posted Instagram tributes to their dad on his special day.

“Honor and a privilege to share time with my dad on his 82nd birthday. 4/20 whoop whoop!!” Patrick captioned a black-and-white photo of the pair smiling.

“Happy birthday dad I love you,” Tatum wrote with a picture of them smiling while sitting on a bed, where a large photo of Fawcett hung overhead.

The Post has contacted reps for Tatum and Patrick for comment.

Tatum — whose mom is Ryan’s first wife, Joanna Moore —and her father starred together in 1973’s “Paper Moon.” At just 10 years old, Tatum became the youngest-ever Oscar winner, subsequently putting a rift in their father-daughter relationship.

“He loved me, but then hated me because I won the Academy Award,” Tatum told The Hollywood Reporter in July. “Weird s–t happened. It kind of went in the wrong direction to happiness,” she added.

In 2011, the duo invited cameras to watch as they tried to mend their relationship on a reality show called “Ryan and Tatum: The O’Neals.”

But it wasn’t until 2020 when Tatum had a near-fatal stroke from a prescription drug overdose that the pair’s work paid off.

Ryan finally met with Tatum and his grandkids in September 2020, whom he hadn’t seen in 17 years.

However, Tatum didn’t see him again until July of this year when they had a talk that she says went “really well.”

“I think he’s gotten a little bit better in his life,” she told THR in July. “I mean, he’s an amazing man, my dad, and I miss him terribly.”

“I don’t want him to die,” she added. “I love him. I love my dad. I mean, I’ve had a hard life with my dad — but I still love him.”

She has yet to publicly address her father’s death.

Meanwhile, Ryan had a better life-long relationship with his son, Patrick, who he shared with his second wife, Leigh Taylor-Young.

Patrick, a sportscaster, confirmed his father’s death Friday in a series of lengthy Instagram captions all accompanied by photos of a sunset.

“My father Ryan O’Neal has always been my hero. I looked up to him and he was always bigger than life,” Patrick wrote.

“I will share my father’s legacy forever. I will not be deterred from outside voices that say negative things,” Patrick continued. “If you choose to talk s–t about my dad, even though you have no clue what you are talking about, you will get called out. If you go that route, I recommend you take a good look in the mirror first.”
