Saint Lucia Employers’ Federation Expands Services to the South

The Saint Lucia Employers’ Federation (SLEF) is excited to announce a groundbreaking initiative for 2025, bringing its services closer to the vibrant business community in the South of the island. This expansion marks a significant step in enhancing accessibility and engagement for Southern-based members, eliminating the need for travel to the North.

The Federation’s inaugural Southern event is set to take place on January 28, 2025, at the National Skills Development Centre in Vieux Fort. This pivotal event will be chaired by Cornelia Jn. Baptiste, Executive Director of the St. Lucia Employers’ Federation, ensuring direct leadership and guidance during the discussions.

Interactive Session: "The Impact of Minimum Wage Implementation"

The interactive session, themed "The Impact of Minimum Wage Implementation," will address one of the most talked-about developments in the local business landscape. Employers will have the opportunity to:

• Understand the implications of the minimum wage introduced on October 1, 2024.
• Discuss their experiences and challenges with the new policy.
• Provide valuable feedback that could be relayed to the Minister for Labour.

Expanding Reach, Enhancing Support

This initiative underscores SLEF’s commitment to being the voice of employers and a champion for businesses across St. Lucia.
