The FarmHers Market is a new addition to the College’s Nobel Laureate Festival activities, highlighting the critical role of agriculture in Saint Lucia’s economic development, inspired by the legacy of Sir Arthur Lewis. Attendees can shop for fresh produce from the Helen’s Daughters farmers (FarmHers) and the SALCC farm, while learning about the College’s agricultural programmes.
The event will also feature information on the Helen’s Daughters Scholarship, which provides financial support to two SALCC agricultural students. The scholarship covers full tuition for the duration of their studies, with recipients giving back through voluntary service to the Helen’s Daughters organization.
