Scott’s Head Housing Development is nearing its completion in the Sarine Sarvin area, as per a recent visit made by Melissa Skerrit, the minister of Housing, to the construction site. Funded by the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programme, the 12,207-square-meter development aims to construct three-bedroom bungalow units and single-bedroom duplexes in a state-of-the-art modern climate-resilient homes.
The two-story residential development is designed to house residents securely, comfortably, and responsibly, with efficient MEP fixtures and complete interior furnishings. It is structured to withstand adversities such as heavy rainfall and destructive wind forces characteristic of Tropical storm weather condition.
The initial idea behind constructing this multi-storey modern housing, along with housing the population is to minimize the impact posed by the devastating wind forces produced during storms thus reducing casualties.

The purpose of this groundbreaking development is to adapt to new building techniques capable of resilient climate conditions experienced in island locations.
