Introduction of New President

On January 12, 2025, Valerie Bailey, Esq. officially assumed the role of President of the Jamaica Organization of New Jersey (JON-J), a well-established philanthropic group dedicated to serving Jamaicans in the state.

She succeeds Owen Eccles, who led the organization for the past two years.

Bailey, along with the newly elected executive officers, was installed during an official JON-J Installation Church Service held at Rehoboth Pentecostal Church in Trenton, NJ. Our goal is to expand JON-J’s presence, both in New Jersey and back home in Jamaica.”
