MIAMI-DADE – Vice Chairman Anthony Rodriguez says he is proud to announce the second annual Veterans’ Stand Down, an initiative dedicated to celebrating and supporting America’s veterans and active-duty military personnel.

What to Expect
Stand Down is a free public event featuring an exciting obstacle course for high school juniors and seniors, JROTC, and Senior ROTC, presented by various military branches. Homeless veterans will have access to complimentary haircuts, showers, and meals, while veteran families can connect with over 80 state, county, and private agencies. The event will also include a full county circuit court where judges will hear cases. Attendees can enjoy music, food trucks, and military vehicle exhibits.
