St. Lucia – The Consumer Affairs Department (CAD) of the Ministry of Commerce, Manufacturing, Business Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs will be observing World Consumer Rights Day 2025, this Saturday. The theme for the March 15 observance is: “A Just Transition to Sustainable Lifestyles.”
Activities and Events
As part of the activities planned in honour of this observance, staff will be conducting an engaging information session at the Consumer Affairs Department (corner of Micoud and Coral streets, opposite the Ave Maria Girls School) from 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, March 14.
To commemorate the “Transition to Sustainable Lifestyles,” the Consumer Affairs Department in partnership with Massy Stores islandwide, will be offering 500 points to customers who use their reusable or eco-friendly bags at checkout on Saturday, March 15. In addition, Glace Supermarket will offer a 30 percent discount on non-wholesale purchases for customers who use a Glace Recyclable Shopping Bag while shopping.
