Collaboration between BPW St. Kitts and Department of Aging and Disabilities
On July 18th, 2024, BPW St. Kitts collaborated with the Department of Aging and Disabilities to conduct a Job Readiness Workshop for students of Ade’s Place and members of the St. Kitts Nevis Association of persons with Disabilities.

Featured Workshop Facilitators
Two members of BPW St. Kitts, Dr. Ionie Liburd Willett and Mrs. Delcia Bradley-King, were the featured workshop facilitators. Dr. Liburd Willett is a consultant and professional academic coach and trainer, and can be found under the social media handle ‘Global Dr Coach’. Mrs. Bradley-King has been a full-time training consultant and owner of Training Assets since 2018.
Workshop Activities
The participants were engaged in discussions on job readiness skills, interview preparation, and professionalism in the workplace. The attendees also participated in mock interviews and were provided with constructive feedback and tips to improve their interview performance and resume submissions.

The feedback from participants and facilitators has been very positive, and the participants were eager to utilize their new knowledge.
BPW Job Readiness Workshop: A Signature Initiative
The BPW Job Readiness Workshop has become a signature initiative of BPW St. Kitts. The club held its first Job Readiness Workshop in June 2023 and its 2nd Annual workshop in June 2024, open to all persons interested in improving their readiness to enter the world of work. To date, 75 persons have been trained and received participant certificates.
